Advanced Open Water

Ready to advance?

Eager to learn more? That is what the Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. This course will help build your confidence whilst expanding your knowledge and scuba skills through different Adventure Dives.

Course Details

Designed to advance your diving skills, you can even start this course straight after completing the Open Water Diver course. You will try out 5 different specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. Each Adventure Dive may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver Course. If you’ve already taken a specialty diver course, ask your instructor if you’ve earned credit for an Adventure Dive.

What you will learn

There are 2 required divers which are Deep Diver and Underwater Navigator along with those you will be able to choose another 3 dives for a total of 5 dives. During the Deep Diver, you will learn how to plan dives to deal with physiological effects and challenges of the deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigator refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time. The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have here are a list of the Adventure Dives you can choose from.
