The PADI Adventure Diver course helps you get more out of diving by teaching you different types of scuba diving adventures and the different skills needed for those dives.

Course Details

The Adventure Diver course is a subset of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. Complete 3 Adventure Divers of your choice and you earn the Adventure Diver certification. It’s a great opportunity to work with your instructor to build your scuba skills and gain more confidence as well as get a taste of what you like and enjoy. Better still each Adventure Diver may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver Course.

What you will need

Bring with you swimmers/bathing suit, towel and sunscreen.

You’ll be using all the basic scuba gear which can either be rented or purchased depending on your preference. This includes a mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, regulator (delivers air), buoyancy control device (BCD), dive gauges (to monitor depth and air supply) and a tank. Depending on which 3 adventure dives you pick you may also try out DPVs (underwater scooters), a dive light, lift bags, a dive flag/float or other speciality gear.


To sign up for the Adventure Diver course you will need to have a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organisation) and be a minimum age of 15 years old.
